YOUR TRUSTED PARTNER FOR dRAFT  & BUNKER SURVEYS

DRAFT SURVEYS

The draft survey (UK)/ draught survey  (USA)  (DRFT) is the recognized international method of determining the quantum of cargo loaded or discharged by measuring the change of displacement of a floating vessel.

Our Marine Surveyors are Naval Architects, experts in reading drafts, checking water density with calibrated hydrometers, and sounding tanks to determine the ballast using the ship's sounding tables.

We use specific software and mathematical computing algorithms to obtain the most accurate values of the total final displacement of your vessels and the cargo on board.

BUNKER SURVEYS

Bunker Survey, also known as Bunker Delivery Survey, Bunker Quantity Survey (BQS) or Bunker Stem Survey, forms a critical part of preventing bunker delivery losses.

Our Bunker Surveyors are mainly employed to independently check and determine the barge delivered quantity and the vessel received quantity.

We send five representative bunker samples for laboratory testing after completing the bunkering operation according to ASTM/ISO 8217 and other specifications standards.

We only use approved laboratories.

Types:

  1. Bunker Quantity/Replenishment Survey (BQRS): Monitors bunkering from a barge to the vessel and calculates the supplied quantity.
  2. Bunker ROB Survey (BROB): Checks onboard bunker tanks and calculates remaining bunker quantity.
  3. De-bunkering Survey (DBQS): Monitors bunkering from the vessel to the barge and calculates the supplied quantity.
  4. Off-Hire Bunker & Condition Survey (OFBC): Calculates bunker quantity at off-hire and checks vessel condition
  5. Off-Hire Bunker Survey (OFBS): Calculates bunker quantity at off-hire.
  6. On-Hire Bunker & Condition Survey (ONBC): Calculates bunker quantity at on-hire and checks vessel condition.
  7. On-Hire Bunker Survey (ONBS): Calculates bunker quantity at on-hire.
